I would be carefull about OC a laptop , they run hot to begin with.

Was the 1440 your single threaded benchmark result? that's the one we're interested in
that feels low to me... my tested stp on my i7 620m is 1359 and its rolling along at 2.67 (3.3 turbo). jumps to about 3.3 for test...
I believe so.
920XM is running at 3.6GHz for either 4-core load or 1-core load. TDP limit maxed out, no throttle observed.
