Hi all, I signed up to report a problem I have with the memory card.
Until this morning everything was working properly, but since the last update made in the afternoon the application does not read the memory card reporting that it is not formatted.
I ask for your help to fix it so as not to lose the saves.
I'd like to attach my mem file but i'm not allowed to put URL and the size exceeds the 2.1MB

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.
Please make sure to enclose your emulog in code tags like so (remove the empty space on the closing code tag!):

The folder logs is empty. My problem is related to the memory card. In fact, now it is not formatted, while it was before and I cannot format it even from the initial screen (see attachment)

In alternative, is it possible to open the memory card file and extraxt extract its content and pass it to another formatted one?
I've tried with mymc software but since it is unformatted it does not open it

My question now is why if it worked before now doesn't it? What could have happened?
corrupted save, corrupted memcard.
it happens on windows, sometimes your data gets damaged
it happens on ps2. somes games do weird things with memcards
it happens on pcsx2, since it reproduces a PS2 behaviour
in pcsx2's case, if you add cheats/pathes and savestates to this, you get higher risk to have corrupted data
can you share your memcard with some file sharing site, please ?
or simply compress it and attach here ?
