God of War 1 & 2 looks playable
Hi I am new on this forum and have a question.

I want to run God of War 2 but I only get 7fps max! I run the game in DX10 software (hardware gives me a green screen except the characters).

God of War 1 runs perfect with 50 frames most of the time!

I made a screenshot of the plugins I use:

PC specs:

CPU: Intel Pentium core 2 duo 3ghz
GPU: Geforce 8800GT

Does someone know a solution to my problem?

Download the newest beta of emulator( http://www.pcsx2.net/files/18600 ) and gsdx ( http://guliverkli.sf.net/latest.php?q=GSdx ), it should fix the green screen problem with hardware mode, use DirectX10 render if you are able to, and use speed hacks.

Thanks! works fine now Cool
god of war 2 is perfectly playable with pcsx2 r969.exe.use gsdx hardware(never software mode) mode
revision above 962.in cpu conf use vu skip(all value zero).
gow2 is playable only with EE at default, it crashes at the horses otherwise
Hey can someone PM me GSdx 1076m? Thanks.
I followed your advice and the game still has a green screen:

My rig:
E8200@2667Mhz (stock)
HD3870
4gigs of RAM
WinXP SP3
Latest Directx sdk and runtime
Latest ati drivers (9.5)

My settings:

I messed with all other options from graphics settings and achieved nothing. I know that software mode fixes the problem but i`m getting 30fps in software and i`m looking for a solution to fix in hardware mode which gives me 100% full speed
