im playing Jak 2 at the moment and thought the occasional slow motion was part of the game.....but i think im wrong.....the game is randomly going super slow motion....i thought maybe the frames but i am at 60 FPS when it happens... what could cause this? is this a know glitch/bug with the game?

if you are using speedhacks, they tend to fake fps counter.
It slows down probably because your CPU isn't powerful enough.
Unfortunately, like Ratchet & Clank series, Jack & Daxter series are very demanding too.

ya....im using speed hacks to get to my current frames even :/ jak 1 was fine but 2 is a bit harsh.....i got a fx4100 @3.6ghz....and im guessing thats still not enough?

bulldozer architecture is a pain in the ass when it comes to intensive gaming.

bulldozer? you mean the entire FX series? if i upgrade what should i go with? i heard phenom is good right?

Phenom is much better, I bet a phenom II clocked 3 GHZ would be better then a bulldozer at 3.7 GHZ

i might invest in it then....is phenom the "best" amd has out there for gaming at the moment?(i plan to go with a 8-core with w.e i buy next)

not the "Best" I think the best would be an I5 2500k @ 4.3 GHZ
