I am very thankful and I gladly like to test PCSX2, I thank all your work and dedication.
I don't know the time and effort put behind all this development, so my petition here could sound out of place, I would like to ask you for PCSX2 ppa update, it is the way I can update safely and clean my PCSX2 installation.
Thanks for all your help.

The deph fix took me 150% of my free time this week Wink Not so much, GSdx ogl took me monthes of dev. You only see the small part of the dev Wink

What is your Ubuntu version?

Thanks for all, my ubuntu and mint version is the 13.10.
It is because you do all this out of your free time that it seems very rude from me to ask you for doing more, I hope the things I tested could help you somehow, it definitely helps us all to enjoy PCSX2.
If doing the ppa update is an easy thing to do (I have no idea), I will really appreciate it and I will come with all the tests you want me to do and I am capable of.
Thanks.

dev without user is not nice Tongue2 New version uploaded. Test are welcome because I haven't run PCSX2 more than 10 minutes since latest release Wink

Edit: by the way there is a new tab in GSdx config. Be sure logz is enabled.

Here is a screenshot of my Dragon Quest 8 with the brand new update.

To add, I have an advanced tab for GSdx.

picture seem to be fine Smile The new tab is normal, it was too big for laptop user. However is miss the hack dialog. Hack must be enabled on gsdx.ini (too late for 1.2 release)

If you have issue with sw rendering that mean the issue also exist on windows. In this case it is way above my skill.

Musten, could you go to the offending scene and generare me a gs dump.

Use GSdx, and hit "ctrl shift F8", I don't remember which one but either ctrl or shift must be keep down. Don't wait too much otherwise the file will be too big, I need at least 10 frame not 200. xz the file and post it in a free sharing platform (dropbox, gdrive etc...). The dump will be generated in the snap directory.

@DaTankAC,

Could you check glxinfo if AMD support GL_NV_depth_buffer_float. If yes you must either set GL_NV_Depth to 1 or force disable the extension...
