There is no need for a guide.imagine if every windows update was released like that... what about if i just copy pasted the updated files into my v1.40 directory, i updated from like v1.21 to v1.40 to a few more v1.40 then to the latest installer and now v1.5 daily so my files are all over the place

It'd be so good if every Windows Update was like that. Unlike the method you have now where you have zero control over which update gets dumped on your computer. Anyways. This is how I set up my PCSX2 folder: PCSX2 1.4.0 has a portable.ini file in there so it has its own Memory Card and Plugin folder for testing purposes. Whereas my v1.5.0 folder makes use of the separate plugin folder (for easy updating, and also to maintain certain patched GSdx plugins for specific games, without having to recopy it every time I DL a new version).
