i7 920 and geforce 260 is not high-end platform, it's just mid-range, don't expect miracles on it.

ok smarty pants. its high end compared to most stuff.
im not gonna get like quad-socket i7, 4-way SLI of GTX 280s
who do i look like? bill gates?
this would be a 2000 dollar computer if i bought it at best buy, but i built it myself. if i had lots of disposable money i could easily make something that can run a small NASA mission.

Ehr yeah you can buy for whatever high price you want but it's still mid range
The problem has nothing to do with the price of the machine however. I haven't seen any screenshots or settings posted so it's difficult to help like that anyway.

Sorry dude, but that's the truth. Who do you look for? Noob. No doubt. I'm running pcsx2 on Phenom II 550 unlocked to X3 and overclocked to 4.2GHz at the moment (just for the tests, it will be slowed back to 3.8 after). I'm mounting CrossfireX to it and I'm not sure what will come of it so don't expect my specs in signature at the moment. I'm still considering my config as mid-range.

i know, i havent OC'd or really modded anything on it because i dont have the money to replace anything. the brute power is really enough to run anything. Crysis works on max settings running full speed. so thats good enough for me
back to the issue. even the ISO isnt running full speed.
