Read first: Will PCSX2 run fast on my computer?
I have a HP EliteBook 745 G3 with the following spec

AMD Radeion R6 Graphic
AMD PRO A10-8700B R6 1.80ghz
8GB RAM
256GB SSD
Windows 10 64bit

I'm having troubles running FFXII and Suikoden 5 on consistent frame rate that it will be playable without any lag...
Are the specs above isn't enough?

Thanks!

with a few speedhacks, you will get playable speeds on FFXII with a few slowdowns. (not all the time)
Your specs are a bit weak for suikoden 5, though...
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

Hey! It's been a long time and I'm trying to play Dragon Ball Budokai 3 at perfect 60 FPS.
A long long time ago it stayed at 55 FPS all the time, but now it goes to 30-35 all the time during gameplay...

Here's my computer:

CPU Processor: AMD A10-5745M APU with Radeon™ HD Graphics

Max Speed: 2.10 GHz

RAM: 6 GB (5 usable)

System type: 64 bit / x64 based processor

Sockets: 1

Cores: 4

Logical Processors: 4

Virtualization: off

Hyper-V Support: Yes

L1 Cache: 320 KB

L2 Cache: 8.0 MB

I've tried TONS of different combinations to try speeding things up. My current has main menus, pausing, and cutscenes at 55-60 FPS, but ACTUAL gameplay is 30-45 at best.

PLEASE help! Thanks!

(Sorry, I made a separate thread first... According to the chart on Page 1, I should be fine, but I'm not...)

If I disabled my audio, games run on a consistent 55-60fps... Are there any other audio plugins I could use?

6950 Extreme Edition, no game has problems at all.
But can't play The Getaway smoothly... beats me...

I'd like some input! I'm currently looking to buy a new laptop (I'm a freelance artist and about to start college again so I kind of need to lug it around with me), and I'm eyeing something that's powerful enough to run PCSX2 (particularly Dragon Quest VIII) nicely.

The specs of the laptop I'm thinking of buying are as follows:

ProcessorIntel® Core™ i7-6700HQ Processor, 2.6GHz (Max
Memory: 8GB DDR4 2133 RAM (upgradeable to 16GB iirc)
Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce GTX 960M 4 GB GDDR5

Is this good enough to run PCSX2 with little problems?
