pcsx2 wise, it'll be the same.
The main goal when using Vista or Seven over XP is to get benefits from using Dx10/dx11 instead of Dx9
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

Skip Vista. use 7 or 8 (I have so many stories about Vista it's just not funny..)

thx you guys! i tried the desktop pc on my bro. heres the specs,

WINDOWS XP SP3
AMD ATHLON™ II X2 250 PROCESSOR, MMX, 3DNOW (2 CPUs), ~3.0ghz
2GB MEMORY RAM
NVIDIA GEFORCE 8400GS - 1GB

It's not lagging btw but. When im at battle, and some enemy cast Fire element or Demi, lag. But when its done. Back to normal and not lagging again hahaha!

the 8400 GS just plain BLOWS. I had one, then bought an 8600 GT, no more lag Smile (that GPU died, now I have a GT 430, but still no lag Tongue )

compared to the 7100 I had? yes, it was lol

@dan: entirely (in the meantime though, use 384x384 custom resolution, it will lag less)
