Otherwise there are daily PPA build on Linux with automatic upgrade.

Is it similar to an auto-update or is it something different?

Anyways, where and how can I do so?

Why don't you let user choose this. Like dolphin. You choose if you want Auto update for : STABLE release, Beta or DEV
Maybe with the alert "Use at your OWN risk"

Auto - Update is very great feature for who wants this emulator always with lastest features

Our development builds are currently both compiled and hosted by Orphis, who has the courtesy to do this for us free of charge (web hosting ain't cheap). Orphis pays for the hosting with the ad money from the buildbot site (aka, you using that site generates the money needed to keep said site/buildbot alive), so to respect that, we aren't automating that away. If you are really interested in automating updates for yourself, a little powershell is about all you need to download/extract new builds.
Problems? Check out the development builds for the latest updates.

Mobo: ASUS Prime Z370-A
CPU: Intel i7-8700K (3.7 GHz)
RAM: G.Skill TridentZ, 2x8 GB DDR4 (3000 MHz)
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti FTW2 (8 GB)
OS: Windows 10 Pro (64 bit)

Oh yeah Red Pandas are cool too.
