The last time I tried that game there was some problem(this black screen)and I don't know if the problem still exist(maybe you have some other problem),but the fix was just to press start on that black screen

The first thing that the game load is from the second layer(the first fmv)and if the image is not maded correctly,the game won't work

How is that possible, when this is the original game?

Make an image of it(ISO)by using ImgBurn
Not every program can make working DVD9 image

Alright I did that, now it gives me the PS2 BIOS screen, right after the Playstation 2 splash screen, the PS2 logo moves to the bottom and then it freezes.

PCSX2 taken from non-official sources, especially modded, custom versions aren't supported here. 0.9.7 is also already old. Use official release.

You already did it before or now...if it's not,it doesn't sound very believable to me(no matter how fast your DVD drive is,you can't make DVD9 image for less than 7 minutes)

1.Set for CDVD plugin Linuzappz ISO,choose the image(don't mount it with any program)
2.Choose from the CDVD menu plugin
3.Using System=>Boot CDVD (fast)

You can also use CDVD=>ISO and then choose the image

And yes I just saw that too r3876 (modded)....download the newest beta or the official version(0.9.8)

I'm a C+ / C++ coder, wanted to tweak it a bit so don't worry to much about that.

Also I've got a LiteOn iHAS422, those are pretty fast with ripping, combined with a AMD Phenom x6 and a 160GB SSD it goes rather fast.
Oh and that still didn't work.
