Can't seem to make Pnach files work
#1
PCSX2 version 1.2.1
Game: Dragon Quest 8

Here's the steps I'm taking:
1. grab cheats from codejunkies
2 convert AR MAX to Standard with omnitool
3. enter CRC and convert with PCSX2CE
4. place PNACH file in cheats folder

I'd also like to know how to convert plaintext (such as in this thread http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Post-your...es-here#DZ
into working patches.

Did you enable cheats in the menu?

To convert the plaintext, just copy them into a text file and save it as CRC.pnach where CRC is the game CRC, and put it in the cheats folder. Make sure you have "hide file extensions for known file types" off in Windows or you might save it as CRC.pnach.txt accidentally.

Please attach pnach file you currently use and the emulog after you launched the game you want to cheat.
