Crash problem with GIT versions
#1
Hi all. I'm trying to use GIT versions since a bit, and i have a problem who stays here from a while. Every GIT version i tried after the latest stable has a problem. Sometimes, when i run the program it just crashes. This thing doesn't happen with stable version who is perfectly fine. I've just to keep try running it until he loads up, then it works like the stable version, with no error or whatever. I took a look at logs, and when it crashes the log stops at "Reserving memory for recompilers..." .
I say another time that there is no sign of this thing in the latest stable build. Is it normal? Or I can provide more information to help you understand better how this problem can be? Thanks in advance.

You need to install the Visual C++ 2013 (x86) runtime package to run the git builds.

I did it, and every build (more or less) worked also before the visual update. Sometimes the program just crash before load up, sometimes not, it's the only problem.

actually, the OP mentioned that, the log stops at reserving memory for compilers.

Example of op's emulog:
Code:
PCSX2 1.2.1.r5873 - compiled on Feb  3 2014
Savestate version: 0x9a0a0000

Host Machine Init:
Operating System = Microsoft (build 9200), 64-bit
Physical RAM = 8140 MB
CPU name = AMD FX™-6300 Six-Core Processor
Vendor/Model = AuthenticAMD (stepping 00)
CPU speed = 3.498 ghz (6 logical threads)
x86PType = Standard OEM
x86Flags = 178bfbff 3e98320b
x86EFlags = 2fd3fbff

x86 Features Detected:
MMX.. SSE.. SSE2.. SSE3.. SSSE3.. SSE4.1.. SSE4.2.. AVX.. FMA
MMX2 .. SSE4a

Reserving memory for recompilers...

now, the actual emulog which appears when dev9 plug in is set to DEV9ghzdrk.dll will be like this

Code:

exactly, I can't even chose something different from null. I t ried everything that can come up in my mind, messing with plugins, copy old version plugins, change randomly every settings and there is nothing to do apparently. Sometimes it boots up normally, sometimes it crashes. Another thing I noticed is that if i delete inis folder (making run it for the 1st time) it'll never crashes.

Did you set pcsx2 to any different language while, configuring it ?
