I'm not sure what would have caused you to lose performance. Try opengl in pcsx2 and in the nvidia control panel set threaded optimization to on. You'll probably want to only do this specifically for pcsx2, so create a profile for it in the program settings tab. Also, make sure power management mode is set to prefer maximum performance.

Isn't there a problem with Nvidia drivers and windows 10 ?
@OP : try downgrading your GPU driver (assuming you weren't crazy enough to update it using windows update, of course...)

on windows 10, windows updates are forced, so I would not assume they were "crazy" to update them
