Help in getting a system

Yeah... never heard of ADD2 slots. Has to be AGP then. The only other OLDER type is ISA. But I doubt he has that much of an ancient computer.

But, my CURRENT DESKTOP PC ONLY supports ADD2 cards in the X32 slot...It does have 2 PCI ( OLD ) and an X1 slot....Best possible solution for me at the moment ??

get at least an GT-730. if you go lower than that, it will be not nice. also, make sure to get a new mobo. from the looks of it, yours seems like an ancient one.

I think you should read up on ADD2/SDVO...I did mention the existence of the x16 slot...

PS: An ADD2 card is something that takes an input from the integrated graphics to output to a display, so providing DVI/HDMI or an extra VGA slot on my VGA only PC that can output simultaneously.
I REPEAT: IT'S NOT A GRAPHICS PROCESSOR, ONLY an OUTPUT PORT BEING DERIVED FROM THE BUILT-IN (UNUSABLE OTHERWISE)...
My ONLY choice here is PCI or PCI-E 1X.

Ohhh, you mean like that proprietary connector that Dell used to use for its specialized GPUs?
Moe: [to Homer] And I'm pulling your favorite song out of the jukebox.
Homer: "It's Raining Men"?!
Moe: Yeah, not no more, it ain't. [throws the record out the window which lands into Smithers' car]
Smithers: Ow! [looks at the record] Ohhh.

Yeah, Kinda like that. But this time, Intel's the culprit...
So, my best possible PCI-E 1X Solution...

I have already mentioned it, get at least an GT-720 || GT-730. That would be the least you could look at for the mobo.

I'm sorry to have gotten on your nerves...And, To think....You people face thousands of stupid people like me, but those aren't available in PCI-E x1 slot configuration....

I don't think there's going to be a GPU that fits in a slot smaller than the length of a PCIe x16 slot

EDIT: unless you're willing to file down the end of the slot to fit one in, but no GPU is going to do well in a slot slower than a x8 IMO

don't worry, I didn't lose my poker face. my bad, I thought that you were intending to replace your old mobo with a new one.

solution:-
The best 1x card you can get is GT-610 but, there is another way on which you can use X16 cards on your 1x slot.
