There is still one instance where the frame of a taken photo is flickering.
Thank you all for your work!
Funny how we both were working on the same game!
With massive help from the PCSX2 discord, I managed to essentially replicate the NTSC fixes on the PAL version.
Here it is:
//Remove Interlacing
patch=1,EE,00235664,word,00000000
//Lens Flare's fix
patch=1,EE,0013715C,word,3C013F2B
patch=1,EE,00135B18,word,3C014270
patch=1,EE,00135BFC,word,3C0140F0
patch=1,EE,00135BC4,word,3C014110
patch=1,EE,00135B80,word,3C014190
//Remove Post Processing
patch=1,EE,00350C0C,word,00000000 //blurry bloom
patch=1,EE,0035108C,word,00000000 //dark filter
patch=1,EE,00350F1C,word,00000000 //post process and noise in-game
//patch=1,EE,0035905C,word,00000000 //post process and noise on menus, optional, makes main menu bland looking.
Theres also a img, showing the first in-game screen with no post processing. It works for both a original PAL and the undubbed PAL versions.
The Tenchu Fatal Shadow and MK Shaolin Monks codes dont seem to work for me. The CRCs match in the console. Not sure if I'm doing something else wrong. I'm just putting the files in the cheats folder?
Hey guys, I've been playing Monster Hunter and Monster Hunter G recently on regular ps2 since the servers are back online. Sometimes I use GSM to improve the image quality. I'm using a regular ps2 and not the emulator... but to my dismay the game blank screens in any progressive scan mode. Can someone please make a deinterlace code for these 2 games (both NTSC-J)? I've successfully applied the widescreen patch to both and it looks great hooked up to my bravia TV, but playing in 1080p would be so much better. Also I should note, I've tried applying a generic '480 p' patch to both games and they both just crashed, and OPL has a deinterlacer AI that I tried but it looked SUPER flickery. Thanks for the help.
