Which VU rec you select shouldn't make a difference (Aero on/off does however Wink ).

Dont know what to tell you, it is what I get:

Aero on (last time was a mistake but same performance anyway), 1st is microVU and second superVU.

GSdx settings don't matter, as long as you're not gpu limited (I get the same fps with dx9, dx10, 8-bit textures on/off, native on/off.. Tongue2 ).

All settings must be the same. If you'd use ZeroSPU2 instead of SPU2-X for example, you'd gain fps already.
Also I bet different BIOS versions are different speeds. The worst thing though is that this scene does not use the VUs, explaining why the Phenoms actually perform Tongue2

Phenom II's are almost the same clock for clock as C2, they're just cheaper, and in the source engine, perform as good as i7's.

Most likely your gpus are limiting :/

internal rez: 128x128 = 91fps nope, that's my CPU benchmarking lol I got a whole 5 more fps by dropping my rez

Shadow Lady: Maybe some voodoo stuff, like cache coloring ><

Sythedragon: Yeah, we had that talk often enough. Stick to the other threads about this please.

Saiki: 5fps is significant on your machine.

If you are having problems with Vista or Win7's Aero, try this.

Create a batch file in your Pcsx2 directory, call it Pcsx2.bat, or whatever you want, and add the following,

Code:
net stop uxsms
TASKKILL /IM EXPLORER.EXE /F
start /high /wait pcsx2.exe
start explorer.exe
net start uxsms

That should help with Aero problems, and even give a few extra fps.
Note, you may need to "Run as Admin", to get the net stop command to run on an elevated command prompt.

but not worth a 80% drop in graphics though

Hey, thanks for benchmark. I found than I use HD4870 in PEGx1 mode! So it's 50% slower, My real values is 203fps per both plugins.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm finding r1732 to be a good build.
Tested some builds I keep around for compatibility, and found the following.

r1358 - 160fps
r1674 - 167fps
r1724 - 175fps
r1732 - 185fps
r1830 - 178fps.

Nothing major, and all the same settings, but still, it shows how much progress from r1358 to r1732 have been made Smile

DKTronics: Many of these numbers are just us turning things on and off though Tongue2
(1732 uses mVU for vu0 macro, 1830 uses sVU, which does more clamping.)
