PCSX2 - Widescreen Game Patches

is it me or you don't have any information on how to install the widescreen game patches in the first posts? i only found this information but i doubt it's relevant http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Custom-Sh...#pid259495

i'm having a problem with a widescreen patch, 1st time i'm applying one, so i changed the video setting to native, enabled cheats, made the window 4:3, downloaded the patch for the game, renamed it with the correct CRC, and run the .exe on the emu correct directory, and run the .iso, but nothing happened, it's still not widescreen.

all the directories are fine it must be something on the settings

Widescreen is 16:9, not 4:3, and you just said you made the window 4:3...
Also, use the patches in the archive, not ones scattered around the thread.
You also have to make sure the patch is of the right region.

yeah i also checked the region it's correct

so because that patch was a little fishy, it sayed it could be for UNDUB version only i downloaded another patch and tried in another game, i paste the patch on "cheats" enable it, and tried with 4:3 and 16:9 resolution, and its the same (the screen doesn't doesn't becomes bigger), it's not working yet,

First off all...

PLEASE just use the archive.

And take a look at the readme. Check the console if you have to ensure the emulator found the patch.

so i can request for patches here? i can't find widescreen patches for Star Ocean 3 : Till the End of Time from the archives, can i request for that? how do i know which region version i own?

help me, i want to play wild arms 5 but i can't find any widescreen patches, and i dont know the coding to make the cheat manually (which make me frustated )
please anyone, could you make the widescreen .pnach for me ?
