PCSX2 - Widescreen Game Patches
I see what you mean with Sly Cooper now. I created a Bugs section and listed them there for now, along with Grandia II
Not sure what we can do about that...

Someone might want to double check to see if Nocturne NTSC-U has the right proportions too.

I am currently in the process of porting Nemesis' updated God of War code to PAL.
It's a long code, so give me a day or two. Thankfully, the addresses are consecutive and not scattered.

about Grandia, Grandia is crashing when hor fov value equal or less 3f400000

if hor val equal 3f410000 the game doesn't crash

also updated values, not so glitchy

Check your settings in Config/Emulation Settings/GS Window and make sure you set Aspect Ratio to "Widescreen (16:9)" and use 16:9 window size like 800x450 or 1600x900.

I have already the aspect ratio set to widescreen and i changed the
size to 800x450 but still wrong.

I tested it in the real PS2 and is also wrong.

Then i noticed that in your screen caps says 512x512, mine 512x448 and
bingo, i know what happens, the game as a selector of 60hz, i suspect
you choosed the default 50hz mode and i choose the 60hz one, try the
60hz and you can see the image will be too slim.

I don't noticed that in other PAL games the widescreen hack is affected
when you change the selector, but for this game is affected.

Please you can made it also for the 60hz mode? its better.

Regards.

Awesome that appears to have fixed it. Thanks so much nemesis2000!

As a rule of thumb, if a PAL game has a 50hz/60hz selector, make sure the code is for the 60hz version!
50hz is worse, you get less fps, and this is PCSX2 and you can change internal rendering resolution anyway so it doesn't matter.

I updated Grandia II in the archive (assuming it's the NTSC-U version).

You archive pack misses Call of Duty Finest Hour.

Whenever I try re-uploading the archive, it says:

"The file upload failed. Please choose a valid file and try again. Error details: The attachment could not be found on the server."

Maybe it's because of the server change yesterday. Gah, I don't know what to do... without this being fixed, we're without an archive for now.
