The game imo is violating the rule of "Don't ask games that are heavily based on 2D elements" same issue with GrimGrimoire (well GrimGrimoire has nearly nothing 3D, like 20 assets in total).
fix for battles and some cutscenes, values for battles backgrounds not accurate and requires correction

Thanx for the help, you're patching categories of textures than rather the size of every single texture like I did which would mean hundreds of addresses to be patched. This will save alot of pain and time.

Hi guys, I come back to play you some bad tricks *sadistic giggles*
... actually I have some retail games with no working patches (I ported FFX-2 PAL-german with the proper CRC to the PAL-french version) and so I decided to use them to find the needed CRC.
PS2 slim (V12?) using PSrdMod and retail games for the tests; PCSX2 to determine CRC and product codes. Notice: PSrd (and some other homebrews) don't support component display => black screen => blind use = very annoying!
Suikoden V PAL-Multi5 (English, French, Italian, German, Spanish)
(SLES_540.87 ; 9CD9C449)
=> OK, main character and Lyon became unusually slim
Warriors Orochi 2 PAL-French
(SLES-553.83 ; E8499662)
=> OK
Warriors Orochi 2 PAL-ENg
(SLES 553.82 ; 1CE1DA8A)
=> actually the pnach by bositman uses a single 16:9 code but the pnach by ElHecht for the PAL-German version is better (ennemy soldiers render, HUD and 2 players mode 16:9 fixes + an optionnal 16:10 hack) so I updated this pnach.
Wild Arms 5 PAL-Multi3 (English, French, Italian)
(SLES 549.72 ; 0FCF8FE4)
=> provided by devina40 after my request; working fov, notable minor display issues due to game effects
Final Fantasy X PAL-Fr (platinum)
(SCES 504.91 ; A39517AE)
=> the pnach is detected but nothing works: the black stripes are still here and the game still runs in 576i despite of the progressive scan code. My game is the platinum edition, maybe this is because the patches are for the original one...? How unlucky! This pnach is able to make the FFX X-2 HD Remaster almost useless with 480p@60Hz & 16:9 for the PS2 version!
...and this is it for now!
I have some questions though:
1) Why Persona 3 FES PAL has progressive scan patch? This greatly speed up the game with some lags!
2) It's very strange, like for Suikoden V PAL: the patch in the archive doesn't work with my game; I checked and actually the game code matches (SLES_540.87) but the CRC are different. Why?
