Need for Speed Underground SLUS_208.11
This is the original 4:3 aspect (which is screwed by default). Notice the wheels are more like ellipses.


This is the 16:9 fix from the archive (which is screwed because of the default 4:3). The wheels are like ellipses again.


This is the 16:9 fix from the archive with zoom function from my tv (which crops top and bottom slightly). Now the car and the wheel looks better.

Is there any hope for this...?

Sorry for the late reply, forgot you asked this question!

I had no luck. Even if a "zoom out" third person mod was made, I would imagine it'd be very awkward and that Claire/Steve would block the center of the screen, so you couldn't really see what you were aiming at anyway.

You are right for sure! I was just wanted to try that to see how it played in 3rd person. This game is pretty fun, it almost reminds me of Goldeneye for the N64 lol.
