I generally think it's not worth making into any new built-in pcsx2 option couse the same amount of work could be put into making a noob-proof(at least there would be loads of testers;P) gui for applying patches, in the long run would work same way but more usefull for the masses of people who are scared off creating a text file on their own(and it's not a secret that it's common case). Most other emulators can either just take encrypted codes of existing on that console cheat engines or have built-in own cheat engines and save added codes on their own lists from within gui, sooner or later pcsx2 could get such thingy, just dunno who's into doing it @_@.
As I see now sadly that "widescreen list" doesn't include my ICO patcher, which I did couse problems by my knowledge cannot be avoided in pnach format;], through without a person who could test it on US version I dunno if I can make final version(read as - finally throw it off my mind O.o ). Soo anyone has US version of ICO and a minute or two to at least test? (it's here) As long as one of the v2.+ works I'm only interested into knowing which one;P, if noone then a minimum skill with CE or similar program would be nice @_@. It bothers me leaving simple stuff unfinished like that.

And i tried to make a tekken5 code. Tekken5 has already wide function in game option. but it's not true wide. it just truncate 4:3 screen. so i searched y-res that i guess similar value in tekken4(3F6EEEEF=0.9333) using cheat engine. But I couldn't find it. Instead that, I found zoom address 20403374. I was lucky. data value was 3F680415(about 0.9). lower this value into 3F333333(0.7) looks better than basic wide function. and i guess this value similar to other region tekken5 titles. basic wide(biggest and smallest character) set 3F333333(0.7) comment=Tekken5 (SCKA_200.49)(Ntsc-K) Zoom //Zoom Hack patch=1,EE,20403374,extended,3F333333 // 3F680415(about 0.9) zoom function //select proper value //3F400000(0.75) //3F333333(0.7) //3F266666(0.65) comment=Tekken4 (SCPS_560.06)(Ntsc-K) //Widescreen Hack (16:9) patch=1,EE,203BF544,extended,3FA00000 // 3F6EEEEF patch=1,EE,203BF530,extended,40808FDB // 40490FDB patch=1,EE,203BFD9C,extended,44BB8000 // 45089B6E

@miseru99 I can actually help with that, Ico is the only ps2 game I still have the NTSC-U version of (I bought it before I even had the ps2 lol) I'll mess around with it later today
Also great job everyone with the new patches, and we could definitely use an updated list of all patches if anyone's up to the task, preferably amended to the first post.

Ico addresses
202758E0 - aspect value (1.0f) 20280F7C - increasing value

I knew this would happen ... i will waste my time for patching a game that already has native 16:9 support ... shame on me haha Anyway, i haven't noticed any bugs in my testing with this patch, so maybe we will let this patch stay online for people who want to get rid of the purple windows? If you use Burnout's native 16:9 mode the game looks like this : |
