PCSX2 - Widescreen Game Patches

Here's a very simple method to get patch but however it working for many games.
Try to look for 45000000(hex) with widescreen helper or ArtMoney or Cheat Engine,but change it carefully. for example to 45007000.
if you notice that the image is shifted , go to this address and try to change the nearest values.

results obtained by this method can be buggy and unstable, so don't forget about testing.

Thank you. You are awesome Smile I will test some .elf codes and give some feedback. I also posted them there, so people will try and report if the codes are working fine.

battles is a strange mix of hor+ and zoom effect and I don't think that it can be normaly fixed, because camera position not always in the center of view sphere

That is it. You can run game and enjoy it in widescreen. For me, .elf hacks are much better than .pnach'es, as they are more universal and work on PS2 and PS3 with BC as well.

please can you help me hex edit my ffx pal game? or write a noob friendly guide on how to hex edit a ps2 game from a pnach from dat thread?

I haven't seen .elf hack for FFX PAL. I have attached two .pnach'es for your game. I took them from archive. That is enough to run game in widescreen for emulator.
You may need to convert them for using with ps2/ps3 system. It is simpler to use raw .pnach codes with ps2rd or codebreaker than make a hex hack. Tutorials are posted there

How is Splinter Cell buggy? Maybe you can fix it?
No.47 made some NTSC-U Splinter Cell pnachs, so maybe you can look at them and try to improve the PAL ones.

It only works partially on the Y-axis, and on X-axis it won't work at all (anymore).
Maybe an emulation complication.
I was hoping to "give space" for someone who can fix it better.
