Any chance we could see a pnatch for NTSC-U Grandia II?

Awesome job btw. Once again thanks to everyone hard at work here on this project.

Edit:
Never mind. I see it is already in the archive!

No problem. Also, I noticed that Grandia II is different for NTSC-U/PAL, so I wonder if the NTSC-U is outdated. ElHecht should take a look.

Also found a value for KH2 that fixes the proportions during the Chip and Dale and Gummiship scenes.

I'll see about porting that, and the "hide subtitles" hack for KH2 NTSC-U (enable it by default).

For non-native speakers subtitles is the only way to fully understand the story. I would not recommend to hide them by default, better make it optional.

The game is fully dubbed in English but I do agree that it whould be optional.

KH2 has already been dubbed into English, Japanese, German, French and Spanish (PAL versions).
I'm still keeping the subtitles on for Final Mix, since the bonus scenes have no voiceovers.

I have meant non-native English speakers Smile There are about 220 countries in the world and quite a lot of different languages. Most of us can't understand fluent English well without living for a while in UK or studying internationally. I remember myself when I was 12 years old, slowly translating Metal Gear Solid with a dictionary. But I had to sacrifice a voice acting during codec conversations to be able to make a translation of subtitles. After completing that game I never had a problem with vocabulary at English lessons at school Smile Then MGS: Sons of Liberty was released and I was ready for it Smile
By the way, other language dubs usually are inferior comparing with Original/English.
Anyway, if you decided to do so, just leave a note in .pnach to avoid any confusion.
