There's a difference between having pre-rendered scenes and having the entire game on pre-rendered backgrounds.

Harry Potter : Sorcerer's stone [NTSC] seems to suffer an issue with the widescreen patch.

Edit: It seems that the issue wasn't present on 1.2.1

Please do a little testing and find which build causes the issue? What about 1.3? 1.4? 1.5?

The weird thing is that the issue is not reproducible on my NTSC version (the same hexadecimal CRC value of the user who reported the issue)

I have asked him to check which version causes the issue on his side.

It's a Facebook user, he's probably doing something wrong. Maybe he pirated the wrong version and he thinks he has the NTSC version.

Wouldn't he notice it's called Philosopher's Stone(PAL title)? The aspect ratio in both screenshots is the same, so it seems to be working on both versions. The PAL version patch uses the same addresses as the NTSC version, so it shouldn't make a difference anyway.

Are you sure that Prafull did the widescreen patch for the game ESPN NHL 2K5?

The only i encountered is that he made a patch for avoid the hang at the start, which happens most times.

This game have the widescreen option through the BIOS, but is bad made, applies a zoom plus a different Y-FOV in each
camera view of the game.

Some time ago i made the widescreen patch for this game, but the value seems to work perfectly fine only in the emulator, in the PS2 causes
some graphical glitches in some cut-scenes, and in the replays when is used the zoom very near to the puck.
That's why i not posted the patch in the forum yet.

You can show where is the widescreen patch made by Prafull?

Best regards.
