PCSX2 - Widescreen Game Patches
Is there somewhere a comprenhensive list of available widescreen codes? so I don't have to look to each game one by one in order to see if someone has created a widescreen hack?

I just want to make some ws hacks but I don't want to waste my time doing work already done.

I made the widescreen raw codes for the Tekken 5 PAL version for use in the PS2 because the emulator patch cannot be applied in the PS2:

Tekken 5 [PAL-M5] (SCES-53202)

And the same happens with the game Need for Speed Underground, when i tried to patch the game with PS2 Patch Engine
not worked in the PS2, i made the raw codes for the PAL and NTSC-U versions for use with the ps2rd cheats program:

Need for Speed: Underground [PAL-M7] (SCES-51967) & [NTSC-U] (SLUS-20811)

Best regards.

I think ps2wide is for people who don't use the emulator. I'm personally thankful it's there because I can use the hex codes on my PS3 (I can't use pnach files & I don't know how to convert them)

Vanilla (Moved a little when I took it)

Just apply the *.pnach over your PS2 *.iso using PS2 Patch Engine (http://psx-scene.com/forums/f19/ps2-patc...ne-117652/).

That looks promising. I'll try it out soon.

Thanks, it worked. I didn't even know such a tool existed. It's very fast too..

Did anyone experiment with either of the Knight Rider games? I know they aren't really good, but was wondering if someone tried.

Hi, is there any way to remove the widescreen patch?
I was playing Chaos Wars, and tried the Enable widescreen patch on System menu , when i uncheck it it's still on widescreen. Does the setting got saved along with the save state? because now it only happens on that particular save state where i enabled it, i tried loading another save state and it works normally

Disable the patch and load a normal save game from memory card. States will save various stuff and should not be used to replace memory card saves

Hi guys! Smile

I want to ask you some clarification about the values written after // on some pnaches like this one:

Code:
gametitle=Way of the Samurai 2 (PAL-M3) (SLES-52275)
comment=Widescreen hack by ElHecht

// 16:9
patch=1,EE,001de530,word,3c023f40 // 3c023f80 hor fov 50hz
patch=1,EE,001de544,word,460c6343 // 46006346
patch=1,EE,001de5c8,word,3c023f40 // 3c023f80 hor fov 60hz
patch=1,EE,001de5dc,word,460c6343 // 46006346
patch=1,EE,0016597c,word,3c033fb0 // 3c033f80 renderfix1
patch=1,EE,00159524,word,3c034296 // 3c0342c8 renderfix2 water

If I want to play in 60Hz mode, should I replace the value on the 3rd line "3c023f40" with "3c023f80"?
What mean the others values after //? Are they importants?

Thanks in advance, and keep up the good work!
