Do you know if it is possible to fix a similar stutter/shift that happens to GTA 3 NTSC U version when using the widescreen code from the archive?
It only happens when you aim at characters and shoot. When you shoot the camera goes crazy and starts to shift.
Thanks
I'll see what I can do with it. Though, from what I've remembered, that's how the camera system works, even on the original, unhacked 4:3 aspect ratio.
Playing the PC version even with ThirteenAG's widescreen fixes shows the same thing too.

Greetings.
Remember about the GTA San Andreas skybox fixes I posted here about a month ago? Well, I decided to include the fixes to every versions released on the PS2 while also added a few things:
Conditional codes for 4:3/16:9 switches in the display menu so you can still play with the 4:3 aspect ratio with correct FOV without need to disable the WS fix cheats.
Another conditional codes to restore the original game's stock widescreen FOV only during cutscenes to avoid the "offscreen oddities" during those parts.
And another conditional codes for 480p/progressive scan (NTSC-U and NTSC-J versions only). Only actives once you reached the game's legal screen right after the intro FMV.
No 2D fixes ATM, so things like HUD, frontend, or intro FMV are still stretched.
Credits to the those who originally created/ported the WS fix codes. I just added few things I listed on above.

About those two, I did make a few adjustments like the proper 4:3/16:9 switch and FOV restoration for cutscenes, but no 480p though (So forcing it thru GSM w/ FMV skip workaround are still needed unfortunately). Oh, I also removed the cutscene border for 16:9 mode in those two games while also adjusted the cutscene FOV, but since the subtitle texts are drawn without outline by default it can be quite hard to read it (at least on VC). IDK how to make the game draw the text outline during the cutscenes. Also, currently the fix are for NTSC-U versions only.
As for the HUD thing, it's really difficult to me. I first experimented it with III since it still has the debug symbols intact on it's executable making search for the functions easier. But, the only thing I could alter is the radar disc, the map inside the radar is still unchanged, for this one I needed an external help.

Hello, can I request a revision/check on Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory NTSC-U SLUS_211.37 widescreen patch? It doesn't work neither on PCSX2 nor on PS2 to me. I don't really know if on PCSX2 it's my PC or settings fault but on a PS2 it was supposed to work since I successfully patched the PAL version using PS2 Patch Engine and also managed to get the PAL version work on PCSX2.

Hello again, I think I found a bug/missing line on NFS ProStreet SLUS_216.58, the race itself is fine but at the main menu the image is still streched, I also noticed that the PAL patch has 3 lines while the NTSC has 2, I wonder why? Anyways is there a way to fix it? Thanks
