For Pro Race Driver, you can use only the first line from the patch

but in this case, the game menu will look ugly. 
Or you can use
patch=1,EE,0014dc08,word,3c013f40
patch=1,EE,001c4e5c,word,3c013ec0
to get vert- widescreen and fix menu,but it will also affect the gameplay.
both options should work with a real ps2


R-Racing  SLES-52309

I managed to get the patches with PS2 Patch Engine working for both R: Racing (PAL version) & Pro Race Driver. For Pro Race Driver, however, despite the FOV being too close, there is widescreen at least.

I decided not to be lazy and redid the patch Smile

Pro Race Driver SLUS-20329  updated (hor+ in gameplay and vert- in menus because there is nothing outside the 4x3 area.)

Can anyone help? I'm trying to patch the .pnach widescreen hack for Ratchet & Clank UYA (NTSC-U, SCUS_973.53) with the PS2 patcher and it says cheat format is unsupported.

It works perfectly! Thank you so much once again! Now I can finally play Pro Race Driver in 16:9 widescreen on my PS2! Laugh

Oh dear, I'm starting to see how Tekken 3's engine works by checking what each line does to the game and it's so weird.
I'll try with disassembler to port this code to the PS1 version of the game, even though the engine is slightly different. (The arcade version uses the updated engine that was later used on the arcade version of Tekken Tag Tournament.

90% of patch does nothing except freeing some space because I need 3 lines for math with fov and 2 lines for render fix

Couldnt find very many 32:9 aspect ratios patches for PCSX2 in general. And haven't seen any for MotorStorm Arctic Edge. I've been able to get MotorStorm and MotorStorm Pacific Rift on PS3 in 32:9 aspect ratio using cheat engine and RPCS3 at 5120x1440 resolution. It's very immersive. I'm currently playing through Arctic Edge again and would love to get 32:9 working on PCSX2. This is my favorite offroad series (been playing series since 2007). I tried to follow the tutorials but wasn't able to get it.

Any hope for a 32:9 patch?

Can someone help me with one thing?

I've installed widescreen fix for GTA SA and when I enable widescreen in game settings the aiming is broken. It's hard to pass mission with aiming at car gas tank because shooting at the tank does nothing. Only when I aim a little higher and to the right it works. If I disable widescreen in settings then aiming works fine but part of the screen is cut so it's not my desired option.

Is there a fix for crosshair aiming?
