PCSX2 - Widescreen Game Patches
Still wondering to this day if someone will tackle DDR Supernova up to X2 in terms of 16:9 patching.

Those titles had the backgrounds rendered in real time instead of FMV's expect for a few songs and since the Ultramix series started the trend of widescreen support in DDR, i feel like Supernova up to X2 should also have widescreen patches.

Hi, there is a problem with the widescreen patch of Crash Tag Team Racing, the characters and environment are changed by walking left or right. Can you guys fix it? I am playing the Pal version.

You need to rename the PNACH and edit the entries in GameIndex.yaml to the undub's CRC according to the PCSX2 log.

Yeah, it's more of a workaround though. If the patch itself is broken, there's nothing that the emulator could do.

sure. and since the patch will likely change bits in the game itself, it's possible the "widescreen area" will change, making the original patch unusable
