Please Help OpenGL performance

Hi Guys,

I've been using PCSX2 with D3D hardware for a while and it runs perfectly. However I wanted to use OpenGL renderer and it only runs about 15FPS where D3D would get 100+ FPS.

I've already read other threads and tried the recommendations to no avail.

System Specs
CPU: i9-9900K @ 3.6GHz
RAM: 32 GB
GPU: Geforce RTX 2080 Ti
OS: Windows 10 Pro X64

Nvidia control panel 3d settings:

use pcsx2 1.5 instead https://buildbot.orphis.net/pcsx2/index.php . also dont go too high with the Accurate Blending.  keep at Basic unless the game requires something higher.

Upgrading to the latest beta did the trick.
Now OpenGL get 100+ fps even in full blend, 4k and everything maxed!

One more question since you guys are so helpful.

Is there any way to turn off interlacing yet have no screen shake ? I tried all sorts of combinations but it seems like as long as interlacing is off then there will be screen shaking at least in some parts of some games.

Actually I just did a search and seems to be hard to get rid of screen shake easily. Seems like different games or even scenes within games will react differently and messing / changing interlacing types with F5 is the way to go until you find a setting that works.

Unfortunate since everything works so well and interlacing just seems to add an ugly blur effect to everything even at higher than native resolutions. My real PS2 does this too. What are you gonna do? Smile

Search in this thread for a patch or request one for your game(don't expect someone will do it as soon as you ask)...or try making it yourself
