I load Codebreaker quickly with a savestate
Changing values and disableing codes is a nice feature.
but how many games are there pnach files for ?
Yes, notepad is faster but if you have codes for 2000+ games then you probably won't need
to enter any codes with your controller.

Well do you have 2000+ games
I have codebreaker but I deleted the whole database and added only codes for the games I have.
Those collections also have a archive with text files and making those text files to pnach files is really easy(especially with my converter)
1.Load the game
2.Run the converter
3.Click on the load button on the RAW side
4.Paste the codes from the text file
5.Click on the To Pnach button
5.Save and you're done.
You can even save all that trouble by just start the game and the converter, paste the codes into the raw side and click on the Send button.
The file will be created and the codes loaded.

I can't comment the number of games I have...
I don't have that archive. It sounds very easy

Got it, thanks. Mostly PAL, though.

BTW, There is no anti-cheat in the game, it has a couple of bugs with some cheats like, if you try to load a game with cheats it "corrupts the save" and you have to re-start emulation without cheats to load it. Another thing is that it won't accept any value for HP/MP you need to be careful with that otherwise it will freeze from memory leak.

Well, the only thing I have experienced, is a code to stop working in-game (inf. health in Ratched
eadlocked and one or two other games).

There are indeed games that have an anti-cheat measure but unfortunately for them on PS2 the method can be patched out with an ELF hack and it's way too obvious when HEX editing it or it can be disabled by freezing a value in static memory which disables/enables dynamic placement of the addresses or detection for changes. Simmilar things happen to PSP aswell and you can get rid of them with that way (Final Fantasy Type-0 for example)
