ScpToolkit (XInput Wrapper aka ScpServer Reloaded)
I have the same issue, and yes both ps3 (authentic) controllers were plugged in as I installed. So I end up using one wired and one wireless. But I noticed that the wired one disconnects when something triggers the rumble

Hello everyone, could someone help me out?
I have a very old PS3 wireless controller (original sony), and i tried to connect it to my pc with this toolkit, but only the analog sticks (and their buttons) are working. Both when connected via bluetooth and with cable I get this in the controller settings:

http://prntscr.com/99lma2

I also included the dump.
Is the controller broken or is this some kind of driver issue?

Is it necessary to use a bluetooth dongle for a ds4 controller? I only have a logitech unifying receiver dongle, which I'm assuming isn't compatible with ds4

So I've come across installing drivers in the installation process and if I've just connected my ds4 to my laptop with the inbuilt bluetooth. There is no wireless controller in the dropdown list to install a ds4 driver. I'm assuming this means you do have to follow the instructions directly and have it connected via usb and a seperate dongle also connected for future wireless use. Anyone know a good dongle?

So none of the choices in my bluetooth driver dropdown menu have the exact same VID and PID of the listed integrated modules Sad
Don't even know if getting one of those specific bluetooth dongles would help. My in built one works with ds4windows but ds4windows randomly disconnects. I haven't figured out what to do yet.

It doesn't seem to disconnect at all if i have it wired via usb. It must be something wrong with the interaction between bluetooth and ds4windows.
