the problem is when scaling a game to x6, the gpu will have a hard time, even if it's a powerful one.
Your dedicated laptop GPU is a good one, but will most probably be able to handle most games around 3x.
6x won't bring much improvements compared to 4x anyways.
What nobbs meant is some games may be so GPU demanding that your GPU will struggle even with native resolution

Jesalvein, you keeo forgetting that mobile and desktop processors are completely different a mobile i7 is much faster clock for clock than it's desktop counterpart.

I agree on the gpu though.

If you say so.
I didn't know laptops CPUs were better than desktops.

Soooo... I guess we should change the first post explaining that laptops are recommended over desktops.
I'll ask Bostiamn about it.

This is the PC specs:

Processor
4th Generation Intel Core i7-4700MQ Processor (2.40GHz 1600MHz 6MB)

Graphics
NVIDIA GeForce GT755M (SLI) GDDR5 2GB

16.0GB PC3-12800 DDR3L SDRAM 1600 MHz

Score on GAME Debate for pcsx 2

Also can someone explain to me how the bars on game debate for PC performance work ?

Do you have to be ridiculously over minimum system requirement to play a game at top quality ? I don't get how relative hardware analysis gives incite into what frame rate you can get is all.

That i7-4700MQ and GT755M is enough to play all compatible games at full speed.
If you increase the resolution drastically and enable MSAA, the GPU might become a bottleneck though depending on the game.

As with the GT750M in my Macbook Pro, using 1080p as internal resolution slows Shadow of the Colossus down a lot, but not lighter games like FFX.

Err, SLI doesn't go well with PCSX2.

So I should get a new CPU ? Ohmy

Does this mean I should expect poor frame rates with this current hardware ?

No, just disable SLI in your graphics drivers when you want to use pcsx2. For some reason pcsx2 just doesn't like dual graphics cards. So just disable one while playing pcsx2.
