It does pretty well at native and slightly upscaled resolutions with FFXII on my PC, it's my temp GPU after I sold my 6970 lightning until I get myself another high end GPU.

Your GPU is slow for PCSX2. Please mention your CPU.
Start --> Right Click My Computer --> properties.

Hello,
I've bought a new laptop acer aspire v3-571g.
I've followed the config guide and the result is quite OK but i'd like to have the best performance for my config.
Do you know which config i could use to get the better of my config
Here are my laptop specs:
GPU Nvidia GeForce GT 640M 2048 MB dedicated
CPU Intel Core i7-3610QM (64 Bit) & Graphique
Memory 8 GB (2x 4 GB) DDR3 (1066 MHz)
HDD 750 GB (HDD)
OS Win 7 Home Premium 64Bit
I'm focusing on playing FF XII but i don't know how to reach more than 30fps.
Here are my configs:
EE/IOP
EE/IOP : recompiler
Round Mode : Chop/Zero
Clamping Mode: Normal
VUs
VU0 : microVU Recompiler
VU1 : microVU Recompiler
Round Mode : Chop/Zero
Clamping Mode: Normal
GS:
Disable Framelimiting
Base Framerate Adjust 100%
Slow motion adjust 60%
Turbo Adjust 200%
Frame Skipping: Disabled
Speedhacks
Enable speedhacks
EE Cyclerate 2
VU Cycle stealing 0
Enable INTC Spin detection
Enable Wait loop detection
mVU Flag hack
MTVU
GSDX10
Direct3D11
Interlacing Auto
Custom scaling 1024*1024
Texture filtering
Logarittmic Z
Alpha correction
Enable HW Hacks
Extra rendering threads 3
MSAA 2x
Sprite
Agressive CRC
Thanks

well FFXII should run flawlessly on this Laptop
just do the following :
1- use Direct3D11 Hardware not Software
2- put power plan to "high performance"
