Okay, so I've got the latest PCSX2-CE version going after trailing through several of the last pages (OP could really use an update).

I've got it all working, just need to know how to connect my Dualshock 3. Anyone know how?

Making the Dualshock 3 connect is a bit of a hit and miss.
Try looking up methods on the Internet "ps3 controller connect mac", they may work or not work.

Connect your Controller via USB to your Mac, then press the PS-Button in the middle of the controller. Your controller should be blinking. Then go to the Bluetooth-Icon in the OSX menubar, hold ALT+click on it. There should be a new device listed - a couple of seconds later it should be displayed as "PLAYSTATION® 3 CONTROLLER"

You can cancel the usb connection. The controller lights will stay off.

Wait your saying that you can run PCSX2 on a 2009 IMac but not on a 2015 MacBook Air with a way better processor?

"way better ?"
which exact cpu is this ?
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X

It's an Intel Core i5 Broadwell Dual Core 1,6Ghz up to 2,7Ghz

Not that good but still way better than a 5 years old Imac Processor

Depends on what this old iMac CPU is...

Hi everyone,
I have a hackintosh and tried to use PCSX2 1.2.1 with wineskin to play Dragon Quest VIII, by using any of drivers it has stable 60 fps at boot screen and welcome screen. But after I can control the character, fps drop to 30 even 15. I tried to install d3d11, XQuartz with no help.

OS & hardware list:
Yosemite 10.10.3
CPU : L5639 OC 3.6G
RAM : 32G
VGA : R270X (R270 under OSX, shows ATI Raedon X1600 series at PCSX2)

I had the same hardware works great under Windows with stable 60 fps. But I still want to play under OSX, any suggestion is welcome Smile
