The best desktop computer processor for Pscx2 to run fast?
#41
- I've never seen 677mhz ram that doesn't overclock.
- Did he mention what GPU he has?
With a decent one and the E6700 @ 3.2Ghz the system will be as fast as yours, midlothian.

I've never doubt in it that 6700 with 667mhz ram will be as fast as mine rig. I'm out of this forum. Have any of intel fanboys seen a phenom II in reality? It's not been a pleasure to talk this way even that I'm a german too.

And yes he did mention about his graphics card:

It's not so bad.
AMD Phenom II 550 Black Edition @3.8GHz
4GB DDR2 1066MHz CL5-5-5-15
ASUS Radeon EAH4770 Formula 512MB DDR5

Intel fanboy? Where'd you pull that from?
The E6700 is a good upgrade path for cheap, that's all I'm saying.

The GPU however will is barely enough for native res.
It'll work but be a bottleneck.

Edit:
Okay, this is the 2nd time you've accused people of fanboyism in this thread.
In a question which is better, replacing a CPU for 60FPS or replacing CPU + mainboard for 60FPS
it is crystal clear what's cheaper. If you call that fanboyism its just embarrassing for you and
the product you want to advertise.

You are the one advertising Phenom II here.
Sure Phenom II is a decent cpu but that does not change the fact that intel performs quite a lot better in pcsx2.
And to answer your question, yes I have seen a phenom II in reality.
And how does this have anything to do with you being German?

So if even my ATI 512MB GPU will still also be bad for the pcsx2 and slow, so what else should i need a 2GB graphics card?

going from 512 to 2gb will give almost nothing to pcsx2. you need pure clock and memory speed not bandwidth. the same way a 2gb card is not that better than a 1gb in pc games (mainly cause almost nobody has a monitor with native 2500x1600 so the extra bandwidth is not being used)

edit: take for example shadowlady's oc'ed gpu here http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-GPU-Bench...-for-PCSX2 (that way you can see why pure clock/memory speed is better)

dont go for i5 cause i5 is well known for its heating issue... Smile go for the core 2s, if u want i series processor go for i7 instantly.. since the i3-i5 are what we called just a beta test.. the i7 is well develop among the heating issue and use pc800 ram 2 gig for short
