XInput Wrapper for DS3 and Play.com USB Dual DS2 Controller
nevermind I figured it out I just used the driver package from post 639 and everything works fine. Thanks for this amazing tool!

Hey Scarlet, love your native xinput drivers but I was wondering if there's any way to get it to start the scpservice on boot.
Still trying to find a way use the A, B, X, Y buttons (or cross, circle, square, triangle for that matter) for binds in Trials Gold.

I even managed to flip the controller designation, my 360 controller was always set as Gamepad2 with the respective LED on the controller signalling it too (right top corner) because the permanent 360 (DS3) took Gamepad1 already.

Disabled the permanent 360 controller (aka DS3) in the Device Manager, then plugged in the 360 controller which showed Gamepad1 from there on the LED and in-game.
Plugged back in the DS3 and it finally is Gamepad2 in-game, but I still can't rebind anything to those buttons since the A(or X on DS3) button on the 360 controller is the "Apply" function which it also seem to do on the DS3. Even so, other buttons which aren't "Apply" on Gamepad1 don't work either.
Left, right, up, down works for binding on the D-pad and the analogue stick though.

Could it be because the DS3 is showing "Controller 1" on its LEDs on the back so they kinda overlap during the binding process making it impossible?
Maybe this should be showing "Controller 2" when the Xbox360 controller is already taking the Controller 1-spot (which it also shows in its LED)?
However this still wouldn't explain why when the DS3 was 1 and the 360 was 2 it didn't work, sigh.
I have been working for so long to get this work to no anvil, and it seems that no one is having the same problems as me. First off I would like to say that I am not a usual PC user. I am a pro with MAC but lack the knowledge of most things on PC. My problem is that pressing install and pre-install don't work. It goes through a short process then says Install Failed. My PS3 controller is connected, as I can see it in the Device and Printers menu. This is what the processes look like when I press install.

INFO - ENTER: DriverPackageInstallW
INFO - Looking for Model Section [SCProductions.NTamd64]...
INFO - Installing INF file '\\psf\Home\Desktop\SCPUser\bin\System\Windows 7\ScpDevlo.inf' (Plug and Play).
INFO - Could not open file .
ERROR - PnP Install failed.
INFO - Attempting to rollback ...
INFO - No devices to rollback
INFO - RETURN: DriverPackageInstallW (0x3EE)

Install Failed. [000003EE]

And when I press pre-install:

INFO - ENTER: DriverPackagePreinstallW
INFO - RETURN: DriverPackagePreinstallW (0x3F1)

Pre-Install Failed. [000003F1]

Please help! I am using Windows 8, but the first message when I open SCPFilterDriver says: Selected WIN7 configuration, so I am unsure what I am doing wrong. I am using Windows on MAC however through Parallels, so that could be the problem. Any help someone could provide would be very appreciated.
I reinstalled Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit (I have service pack 1 installed) and I figured if I started from scratch I could get it to work. This was not the case. It seems to detect my controller but I'm not sure what to do from there. I have updated DirectX and downloaded the release candidate (SCP-DS3-Driver-Package-0.8.0.100.7z) also. I really want to avoid MotioninJoy as I've had some big problems with it. I was recommended to use this for emulators namely ePSXe.

It seems both of my bt-devices are unsupported. Please add these ones, if possible:

Thanks for your fantastic wrapper, Scarlet!

Is it possible to avoid having my PS3 (the device my DS3 is currently paired to) from turning on after unplugging the USB cable?

I figured this issue would have come up somewhere in here, but nothing turned up after a quick search.
Wonderful work! Thanks!
I have some questions about you work because I'm very interested in it.
It's fully open source? Why don't you put it in github or sourceforge? Do you need some help?
One last question :-D
Are the drivers signed for x64 systems?

I think you should just pair up your ds3 with bluetooth dongle. At least it worked that way with MotionInJoy.
@Scarlett.Crush
Once again, chiming in. Was only able to test a few things on my end.

1. Slow flash of LED while charging - cool idea, works as described. Maybe a slower flash rate would be nice? Just opinion.
2. Disable LEDs - Worked wired and on BT. Re-enabling also worked wired and on BT. I left it enabled because it let's me know if connection is enabled.

Overall still works great, excellent signal and automatic pairing. Keep up the great work.
