XInput Wrapper for DS3 and Play.com USB Dual DS2 Controller
Hello,

Is it possible disabling the rumble feature? Everytime the controller rumbles it dies and I have to restart it.

Hi,
after installing the drivers everything works as it should but after shuting my pc down and booting up i cant reconnect my ds3 again.
After uninstall and install again it works even after reboot but only shutting down causes the problem(disabled fast boot).
What i see after shutdown-boot ist that the HCI changes from 6.258 to 5.258.
System: win8 64bit bluetooth: USB\VID_0CF3&PID_3004
Is there a way to fix this?
Just a heads up (sorry if it's already been noted), but for me at least, this isn't working on the Windows 8.1 preview build.

Many thanks again for this driver btw, I've gotten so much use out of this.
Hi, first thanks for the hard work. I managed to make the DS3 work with this bluetooth in Windows 7 64 bits:
USB\VID_0B05&PID_1788&REV_0449
USB\VID_0B05&PID_1788

But I tried to make it work on Windows 8 64, and the ScpDriver always skip the bluetooth driver installation.

Hey scarlet, awesome work!

I do have one problem though, I bought a 4 port usb 2.0 hub so I can connect 4 controllers to that. works fine with 3, but once I plug the 4th one in, 2-3 of the controllers disconnect and my computer is saying the fourth device is not recognized. it's not a problem with the controllers, they are all working fine they're not plugged into the hub but in another usb 2.0/3.0 port.

I thought an usb 2.0 hub would be fast enough, since it shares like 480 mbps, which.. seems enough to me, it doesn't seem to me like a ds3 controller would need a port faster than 120mbps.

oh, also, if you could add these bluetooth id's Smile
USB\VID_0930&PID_0219&REV_0001
USB\VID_0930&PID_0219

sorry for my bad english btw, it's not my primary language Smile

I am having the same issue. Specifically, this is the output:

Code:
SCP Bluetooth Driver Installer 0.6.0.93

Detected - Microsoft Windows 81 Preview (6.2.9200.0 AMD64)
Could not find a valid configuration.

I have tried compatibility mode and the output is the same. This worked before I installed Windows 8.1 Preview. Now I wish I didn't. Sad I would really like to force the Windows 8 configuration.
I have been trying for several hours to get this, but it will not cooperate. The install goes perfectly fine, but the service will not stay running. It immediately stops after starting through services.msc and there is no ScpServer.exe in the download package.
I am having problems with disconnecting the DS3. By pressing L1+R1+Home, I was able to switch off my DS3, but my computer still thinks that the "xbox controller" is still connected. Anyway to disconnect the two completely? For some games (eg. Bastion, Metro 2033), I cant switch back to using keyboard and mouse without restarting my computer. The game recognizes that a controller is connected, and I cant even use keyboard and mouse to navigate the menus. I am running on Windows 8, and I have to manually restart my computer to be able to completely disconnect my DS3.
OMFG... I figured this out.. after god knows how many hours.

I am on XP SP2. Everything would install perfectly fine, but the ScpService would not run. It would start, but windows said immediately stopped. I have been going nuts trying to figure it out or go around it.

And of course the solution goes back to where I started.
Scarlet mentioned running the service from a command prompt or something else and being an old DOS lover (and therefore a control freak, which I'll come back to) I went with the command prompt. It would never work. Saying it could not be started and did not report an error. From there I started my quest.
Trying to use ScpServer.exe, trying to reinstall things in a different order, etc. Until I came back to the command prompt for no real reason. The last message it gave was to type NET HELPMSG 3534, which I did before and nothing happened. But.. this time I googled it and the first page I see says:
"
in my case, this was permissions on a log file, that i had to delete so the service could rewrite them with the proper permissions. But to find this, i looked at the event log which pointed me to this issue.
"
Which I of course did... only to see it didn't do anything. Another error. Remember the control freak? Well, it so happens I always streamline windows services and get rid of the fluff. As soon as I started Event Log.. bam. Driver balloon pops up, XBOX 360 for Windows installed, Sixaxis working Laugh
