Thanks! I finally managed to get it right, much appreciated.

Hey, the posts said to add Hardware Id's for bluetooth dongles so here's mine.

Hardware Id's;
USB\VID_148F&PID_3298&REV_0000
USB\VID_148F&PID_3298

Cheers.

I'm not using bluetooth, I'm using USB. I don't want to use bluetooth either.

My problem is that the driver is not working at all, not that my non-existent bluetooth dongle isn't working.

First of all, thanks for your reply.
I tried as you said but it still doesn't work... I'm not sure anymore my dongle is compatible as the first page list says...
And, btw, my pad became very strange at its blink (more slower then normal) I'm quite afraid about it and probably I woun't try anithing else (am I over-reacting? Probably yes... But it's still my only 1 pad =/ )
Hello guys.
I need your help. I've been suffering this problem since I started to use this tool.
(bluetooth connection)
after first install the controller works perfectly but suddenly (after shutdown/sleep/hibernation) when i press the PS button my controller doesnt find my computer. I don't know why. so i need to uninstall & reinstall so it works again and so on. that was on an older version. 0.7 something.
I just updated it to the latest 1.0.103 yesterday and the problem still happens but even worse ! sometimes even reinstalling doesnt fix it. the controller gets connected normally and the buttons monitor responds BUT the scpservice.exe doesn't say that the controller is connected (SO WEIRD !) and the game doesnt consider it's connected. this thing didnt happen with the old version. just a reinstall used to fix it ALWAYS.

Hi khaled_7,
I had the exact same problem. My fix is to stop the scp service, install original bt driver, install scp driver without the scp tool but from device manager and start the service again.

With the nice tool devcon.exe i made a bat. file that does this fast every start/wakeup without the problem that other apps not recognizing the pad
devcon for win7/8 64bit: http://delphintipz.blogspot.de/2012/07/d...abled.html

the file looks like this:
net Stop "SCP DS3 Service"
devcon.exe update "C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\qca_btusb.inf_amd64_65456a64af54d\qca_btusb.inf" "USB\VID_0CF3&PID_3004&REV_0001"
devcon.exe update "C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\bthwinusb.inf_amd64_8495fa65842d1\BthWinUsb.inf" "USB\VID_0CF3&PID_3004&REV_0001"
net Start "SCP DS3 Service"

You have to change the driver location and the HW-ID of your bt-dongle.
I found the driver location by completely removing and reinstalling booth original and scp drivers and sorting C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository folder by time.

As a nice side effect you can use the first half of the code to deactivate scp to use your bt normal with other devices and the second half of the code to activate it to pair your ds3 again.

I hope this will help you.

thank you. this is a good alternative Smile
but it's is a little complicated to me. I don't have experience in making bat files and codes like this Tongue
my bluetooth is built in the laptop. Plus, doesn't this procedure slows the computer's startup every time it starts ??
do you know what's the cause of this problem ?? why does it do this ?

Again, leaving the BT thing apart, maybe you need to install the ScpDriver again (unistall it first) but this time with a check in the "force install" box (even if you have windows 7 or 8).

But you should know that even with this hardware ids some reviews are not supported. Yeah I understand you are a little afraid, it's normal, I was afraid too, but after reading 154 pages of this thread the worst issue I found is that in very few cases the DS3 controller stop working but it has a very easy solution: push the reset button in its back and voila! it will work again, no major issues besides what I just explained. I search a lot in this thread and reply to various users, you can check out all my posts,
http://forums.pcsx2.net/search.php?actio...ddf82f0d67
maybe I already gave an answer. But I will add this: make sure to have installed these:
Requirements
1. Microsoft .NET 4.0
2. Visual C 2010 Runtime.
3. Latest DirectX Runtime.
4. Latest Xbox 360 Controller Drivers available.
5. Genuine Sony DualShock3 or SixAxis Controller(s).
6. Minimum of Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR Dongle (if using Bluetooth).
7. Administrator rights on your PC.
Hope this helps, sadly there isn't a proper tutorial about how to deal with these tiny issues, but I can guaranteed that after you make it work it is awesome, the DS3 is a very durable controller, I was using my Logitech Cordless precision for my PC and just yesterday my d-pad left directional isn't working properly, I don't like the d-pad because seems cheap, but the DS3' d-pad is STRONG, it is something difficult to getting used to it when playing fighting games but it works (although I recommend to use some kind of protection for your thumb). So, I'm happy I can use the DS3 on my pc. BTW, the logitech is good and all, it is just that the d-pad just doesn't feel "right" to me, maybe it is because I play fighting games and press a little hard the directions, I don't know. Back on topic, give it a try, I recommend you to read this thread from post #639 (page 64) onwards, maybe you can find something useful related to your problem, at least it worked for me, you don't need to do this in one day, give it an hour a day and you will be fine.
