@AndyIvy: your log looks good now, do you see 1 Led going Solid/Blinking after you disconnect the DS3 from USB? What is displayed on ScpMonitor?

@Samoora: it may take a couple of attempts. Are you sure it is entering Pairing mode? When you try to pair - hold your DS4 close to your BTH Dongle, press and hold Share, while still holding Share press and hold the PS button [takes a couple of seconds to enter Pairing mode - should see repeated white double flashes on the LightBar].
Ok. I reinstalled vista and it works now. but I don't know if this is a problem I can fix or not fix but it seems random buttons are being pressed on the controller without m pressing them. I noticed sometimes when I mess with the analog stick sometimes it shows button presses in games I can see that as.
Hello! I first and foremost wanted to say thank you for this tool. It's working great with my Dualshock 4 both over Bluetooth and USB.

I have a couple questions, which I've looked through the forum and this thread, and don't seem to find an answer. My apologies if I missed it.

1) Is there a way to stop the reservation of the controller while the service is running? I like to use the DS4 for some games, and an Xbox 360 controller for others, depending on which device feels better for the control scheme. But once I've connected the DS4, Windows (7, if that matters) acts as though there's an Xbox 360 controller plugged in, even when I've disconnected the DS4. It would be nice if the reservation could be made to go away. I don't personally care about the seamless switching between BT and USB.

2) I've got three Bluetooth dongles, and understand that one needs to be dedicated to this driver. However, it turns out all three have the same hardware ID, even though they are from different sources (two are no-name Chinese dongles, and one is from Cable Matters, which isn't much different, apparently). Once I've installed the driver with one dongle connected, all three show up as "BTH DS3 Device". Is there some way to make a one of these still appear as a standard BT dongle, or do I need to find another manufacturer?

Many thanks!
I just now registered to this forum just to say how thankful I am that you're sharing these amazing tools with us. I ordered a USB Bluetooth adapter from amazon a few days ago for $20 and after a full day of headaches trying to get motionjoy to work I was just on the brink of giving up when I saw someone somewhere mention this forum thread. So I navigate on over here and sure enough within 10 minutes I had my Dualshock 3 fully working with that Bluetooth adapter. No more BS finicky software that doesn't recognize anything. I love you. Now I can use it wireless with stuff that I prefer to use that controller for like Dark Souls and a ton of other games. I'm even thinking about buying a DS4 soon just for this. Thank you so much!!

My controller is a legit PS3 controller that came with a legit PS3! I completely uninstalled everything from motioninjoy and I tried both of my USB ports on the front, and I have my controller plugged in when I do the installation, but when it says the setup is complete, I press OK, and then I get this ''setup cannot continue because an unexpected error has occurred xbox 360 controller'' error! I tried to ignore that once but when I did that I couldn't even install this wrapper! It would say it installed successfully but my controller won't even be detected! Someone please help me!
I would appreciate if I didn't constantly get ignored and actually got help from someone.. I am STILL stuck..

Scarlet, could we please get the option of changing DS4 LED color in the next release?
I am trying to setup my sixasis controller and while i can get it to run over usb, it wont work over BT. My dongle wasnt on the list of supported dongles; its a generic broadcom 2.1. I did the tutorial on post 1850 that finished correctly but still no BT. i tried restarting and removing the dongle for 30 seconds, that didnt do anything. In the scpmonitor it says "Host Address: <Error>" and that is all it has said since ive tried. I could use a little help, so ive attached my service log zipped.

Alright, created an account just for this, but anyway I have a few questions:
1: My DS3 momentarily disconnects at 100% rumble- is there a fix for this?
2: For some reason I cannot figure out how to get ScpService to work
3: Is there still support for DS2 controllers? If so PLEEAAAASEEE tell me how to install the drivers or set it up or whatever.
Many thanks.
