I had this one since fall 2013, and it works perfectly in every aspect. I hibernate/unhibernate about 5x a day, and it has never just stopped working or required a reboot or unplug/replug.

Thanks for the suggestions, I will look into it. I dual boot linux (linux for media, windows for gaming) and have enabled power autosuspend for the bluetoth dongle (as per powertop's recommendation) and have not had the issue since (knock on wood!).

I will probably be getting a bluetooth headset soon so I need another adapter anyway.

PS3 controller is working wonderfully with Dark Souls 2 Smile Thanks again Scarlt.Crush!!

Hi ppl, im new to Windows RT and wanted to Ask is this Driver makes it possible to use my PS3 BT controller on my Surface RT in any way? If not, does someone know a way to make it happen?

I wanna enjoy my SNES and PSX emulated Games like on windows 7..

Thank you!
Trying to play Dark Souls 2 with this but the controller stops working when it vibrates for about 5-10 seconds after blocking or getting hit

using ps3 controller, win 8.1
Using genuine PS3 controller through Bluetooth on Win8
Everything worked perfectly until I decided to play Fahrenheit, for which I had to install Pinnacle Game Profiler. After using it for a couple days and uninstalling the Profiler, my computer stopped identifying the controller, so I figured I'd have to reinstall my controller drivers along with SCP drivers. Got it back to work, but now it seems like after pressing L1 or R1 keys (happens at random, but more often if I hold them both), the controller starts to randomly lag, for example keys/sticks get stuck for 5-10 seconds and unresponsiveness. Then the controller just shuts down and I have to start it back up by pressing the PS button.

Any ideas on how to fix it?
Already tried reinstalling the controller drivers and SCP drivers multiple times.
Also, if that has anything to do with it, in joy.cpl I can't calibrate the controller to respond to Z axis movements, but those buttons work ingame without problem. (That also worked before the Profiler incident.)
Hello.

I'm trying to pair my Dualshock 3 with my USB Bluetooth dongle. The dongle is compatible (appears in the list) and playing with cable i don't have problems. But when i disconnect the cable i can't use it wireless.

I installed the driver with the USB Dongle and the controller connected.

Screenshots of useful information.

SCPMonitor: http://prntscr.com/3eu0sb

SCPPair: http://prntscr.com/3eu0ws

If any need more info, just ask for it. I really want to play with my remote controller.
The new Trendnet tbw-107ub has arrived today
But I can't seem to pair it with the dualshock 3..
I bought this new dongle just because I couldn't pair it anymore with the old one..
That wasn't an issue before...
When the ds3 unpaired (after every reboot) I unplugged the usb cable from the ds3 ,the dongle and then plugged them again..
Then after some days,i couldn't pair anymore...

What should i do?

Is the SCP DS3 service running? Go to Start button and type services.msc in the search programs and files box and check if the SCP DS3 service is started.

Hi there,
Run scpdriver, make sure force install and bluetooth driver is checked & click install, reboot, connect your controller via usb and run scpmonitor. After it connects via usb, disconnect it and it should connect over bluetooth.

Yes, it is. http://prntscr.com/3f3wpl. Is started.

EDIT: I'm not using a original DS3, i use an ardistel black fire compact. Can this make the trouble?

EDIT 2: I tried with a original DS3, and don't work the bluetooth too. Just the cable.

The virus scan below tells me there's a trojan in the archive, can anyone tell me whether it's a false positive or maybe you need to check your filehost?

No one seems to be concerned about a potential trojan?
