Not that I can think of. Perhaps it is just the controller as Blyss noted? I have some suspicions that SCP is either communicating too fast or too slow in comparison to a regular PS3. I am using cheap controllers, but I have had two of them die using this. A third I have only been using with my PS3 and it doesn't seem to have any problems. Could just be a fluke. I am going to see what sort of bluetooth packet sniffing I can set up to compare the traffic for both. Maybe I can get to the bottom of this.

Thanks in advance

I'm not sure what to make of the vibration. I have given those sort of problems lower priority. Can you get it to vibrate in the server using the vibration test buttons? My controllers vibrate over BTH, but not over USB.

Yes I tried using vibration test buttons and the controller didn't vibrate . I think the problem related to the bluetooth connection some thing as I think the server didn't receive the vibration orders like receiving other buttons clicks orders
I'm having a great amount of trouble getting this to work, I've followed the instructions on the first post to the letter but the controller doesn't get picked up, it just sits there with its lights off.
NOTE: I'm not attempting to use bluetooth with this, just the USB cable. There are no other bluetooth devices in the room as the PS3 is unplugged.

I've got the latest 360 controller drivers installed, got the vc2013 installed, directx is at the most recent version and i've got .net 4.5, OS is Win7 64bit.

I extracted v1.2.0.160 to C:\Program Files\SCP\ (though I've also tried it with just plain C:\SCP\) and connected the PS3 controller.
After that, I ran ScpDriver which ended up saying 'Install Success', whereby the comp gave a disconnect-beep, then two connect-beeps. A ps3 controller and a 360 controller show up in Devices and Printers.

From that point on, the controller's lights stay off and it won't respond at all.

Then I stopped the service, applied the .175 update, restarted the service.. lights still off and not responding.
ScpServer3.exe shows all 4 pads being disconnected, ScpMonitor shows pad #1 as being 'DS3 00:00:00:00:00:00 - Reserved'.
Here's what ScpServer gives me in the way of output:

Also tried with AV off.
I'm guessing it's simply not pairing at all though I've no idea why.

Any help with this would be very much appreciated (really really don't want to go back to motioninjoy at all, it interferes with my framerate something fierce).

Plug the controller in and try using the zadig tool to forcefully install the driver for the controller.

1. I didn't notice it disconnecting when playing with it connected to my PS3. It only disconnected when it went idle.

2. It doesn't use Bluetooth as far as I can tell. I could be wrong though.
It uses a little USB adapter, does it not?
