pcsx 0.9.6 Smile, just delete your current pcsx2 folder (except the bios) and get it from the downloads section

then why not try the lastest from svn? there has been a lot of revisions since 0.9.6, maybe in one of those, that bug was fixed.

it's rev 1386, and 0.9.6 is around rev 600 something
