AMD GCN 7000 series and above.
NVIDIA Kepler 600 series and above (Fermi supports DX12 btw so it might get an update for Vulkan as well). Intel 7th generation igpus (excluding Ivy Bridge).
are you sure about nvidia? because i've checked the wiki page & said below 600 isn't supported:

Yeah that was a typo. Was thinking about dx12.

how to find out about my opengl version?

However they cant run certain specific dx12 type off instructions which means its likely to perform slower running vulkan/dx12 than opengl/dx11 ..as with allot off nvidia gpus.. The upside is nvidia supports full tile rasterization and amd does not .. but amd support fully hardware thread execution of asyncronous compute and most games tend to use that Honestly..... wait to upgrade when the ps5 is out.. not many games use dx12 or vulkan. .. ID SOFTWARE make the best low level api games but the only other games are microsoft first party titles ... Everything else are dx12 wrappers (dx11 game that runs in dx12) .. or so i have herd (01-23-2018, 08:32 PM)lightningterror Wrote: AMD GCN 7000 series and above. Supporting dx12 and actually working faster in dx12 are totally different things... Nvidia pascall/ volta are the only ones that gain performance Anything below looses it big time Same goes for AMD Any radeon gpu from the HD7000 and higher support it Intel kaby lake igpu apparently supports asynchronous compute too |
