How about DirectCompute/OpenCL/CUDA? Dolphin can use OpenCL for texture decoding.
OpenCL might be an option, that's if Gabest can be bothered to learn it Tongue
That would be of use if you have strong GPU.
Quite a few people have access to a strong GPU, plus to use the emulator at a good speed you need a strong GPU and CPU, those who dont have one will obviously have the choice of not using it (if its quicker without it).
Strong GPU. Weak GPU. It doesn't matter. Tesselation (whether "oldschool" Truform or DX11) doesn't really work with PCSX2.
