Thanks for confirming that. Which version of the game did you try it on?
FFX International NTSC-J
So we may have stumbled upon a battle where multiple versions of the game exhibit the issue? This might prove useful for troubleshooting. Does anyone have a PAL version of the game they can test out?
It exists in all versions, we already know that. In basically the same places. I don't think it's version dependent on where it happens, it's something else. We discussed this in IRC.

It's not surprising, as the game uses the same engine in all versions.
Oh yes, I knew it was in all versions. Sorry I should have worded my question differently to reflect that. However, I was under the impression that it happened during different battles depending on the version. This is the first I've heard of the issue happening on the same battle on different versions, which is why I thought it was worth looking into.

Man, I gotta jump in on IRC and be part of these conversations lol
I started a new game and found another battle where this issue happens that I had previously missed: The very next battle after Geosgaeno. The creature's name is Klikk. It doesn't happen in the first stage of the battle where Tidus is fighting by himself, it happens during the second stage of the battle right when Rikku joins in.
It also happens when fighting Yunalesca. I've never had my character run off and never come back, but the middle character does face the wrong direction(just like the mob), and will run off screen and loop around to attack.
So what happened with this? Did we include the fix in the GameIndex.rdf? I don't see it in the one included in my build but I do see that avih messed with the GameIndex.rdf on one of the newest builds. It doesn't say anything about game fixes though. iHas anyone checked it out?
It hasn't been updated with this.

If it was there before I "messed with it" and now it's not there, then I might have done something incorrectly, and we need to fix it.

Is that the case?

The changes were 2: Update the compatibility number (1-5) to the one we have at the website, and sort the entries. It should not have otherwise modify the entries beyond the new compatibility number for few hundreds games.
