I wonder if OCL allows for higher than native resolution without being too taxing, A part of me hopes not only because i'll never beable to use it (effing nVidia..)

Currently OCL is limited to native.

upscaling will destroy the whole purpose of the ocl renderer

I also am curious, I thought it's purpose was software level accuracy with (some) hardware acceleration.

edit: the last time gabest was online was 3 months ago. so, i doubt he would reply in a week (or) month.
