Hrm, the codes I looked up are for the NTSC version, and I ripped the ISO myself from my own disc, also the NTSC version.

I did find some other codes meant for Gameshark, but when I put them into Omniconvert and select the output as Unencrypted/RAW, the output is exactly the same. Is that normal?

When there output is same as input it usually mean you forgot to set the input correctly;P.
Anyway with FFX-2 you could just use Celsius - FFX-2 save game editor.

I did a fast google and I guess soo many people made codes for it, half are broken;P, try the ones in slightly different version:

Have no idea why they were made as multi adress codes in that ones you posted, couse those above were also converted from armax;P, just different site with slightly different codes.

Respectfully request for a few codes those are listed. I am still learning about these decrypting codes, but it took me a bit of frustrating of getting these into work.
