So.... ICO is playable now? Compatibility list says yes.

Finished the game, 10 hrs.

A work of art. Both, the game and the emulator Smile

This game is absolutely stable, beautiful, and glitches-free if we don't count incorrect shadows of the characters. Also, full speed on C2D 2.8. I would call it perfectly emulated.

ICO runs flawlessly with mine...but then again i have the NTSC version. Try out some of the options in the graphics settings, or maybe theres a fix somewhere?

What a F*** ! I've done it ! I succeed in playing it ! I found the trick !

I'am going to tell you all the truth :
I play with the latest svn version of pcsx2 0.9.6 : the rev 835.
But the key to make the game working (from pal version in my case) is to respect these 3 rules :

1) Use *ONLY* USA bios (europe v2.0 doesn't work for this game)
2) Set in advanced dialog, the good options (see pic)
3) Launch the game with Execute (and wait at least 15sec !)

And that's all, all other parameters are not important. See the attachment for all my parameters + the pics at 2560x1600 internal res Wink.
It is a pity that the special effect of blur is so much pronounced :/ (I though it was a graphic bug but not at all, it is the game)

but what if the person only has europe v2.0? (there's no support for piracy in this forum Closedeyes )
