how do you do that without an DX11 card?

easy you need an DX10 compatible graphics card like 8600GT e.g. and Direct X SDK March 2009
and of course the normal GSDX requirements ^^

Weird, since my eVGA GeForce GTS 250 is DX10 compatible and I'm pretty sure I installed SDK March 2009, why it keeps crashing is beyond me.


Say, is there a package to update the plugin to DirectX11? Dxdiag says that I "have" it, and I'm being told that my DirectX 10 card supposedly supports it. Am I doing something wrong?

You could try placing the necessary files in pcsx2's folder directly but I doubt that's the problem.

in hw render mode (dx9 ati or nvidia) there is a strange xor layer with the shape of the robot or garbage and a flickering shadow on the foot of the robot

hmm there should be nothing missing...
as far as the plugin goes the latest betas all have DX11 support xD (which is the same as DX10 atm)
I don't know why it shouldn't work...

it can only work with Vista and higher just saying to be sure. (Win7 atm)

DX11 mode is alpha and you should NOT expect it to work. Give it time to mature first
